After reading an extended article in the news paper about a man, who's home was bombed, who had lost not just his home, but his whole family - especially seeing the headlining picture of him sitting there completely alone among the ruins spurred the moment of this instant composition.

John Sund was born in Copenhagen. He is a self-taught guitarist, composer, arranger and producer.
His extraordinary talent let him to his main debut only 18 years old, with the Danish Radio Big Band in a work by pianist Thomas Clausen conducted by Palle Mikkelborg.

His musical world moves in the borderland between jazz, world music and so much more: "Music without boundaries" is his keyword.
